The gentleman on the right is John Stobo Hamilton. He and his family lived in Chinook from about 1903 - 1906 while he was serving as Stated Supply minister at the Presbyterian Church; he was a graduate of the University of Manitoba's theology school. From Chinook, he and his family moved to Hansboro, ND and he began to practice medicine (his medical degree was from University of KY Louisville). He had hoped to be a medical missionary but his health did not permit it.
