Walter Leavens

Walter B. Leavens, 70 of Miles City died Tuesday, May 23, 1995, in the Holy Rosary Hospital.

Mr. Leavens was born Oct. 10, 1924, in Miles City, the son of Charles W. and Alma B. Hagen Leavens. He attended schools in Miles City and graduated from Custer County High School. Mr. Leavens then attended Montana State University (now the University of Montana Missoula).

He then returned to Miles City and worked with his parents. They ran a newspaper in Wyoming for several years. Mr. Leavens then returned to Miles City where he had lived since.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 25, 1995, in the chapel of Stevenson and Sons Funeral Home. The Rev. Alan Brown will officiate. Interment will follow in the Custer County Cemetery.
