Sealah and Emma were married in 1911. Sealah was Pearl May Phillips uncle (her father Frank G. Phillips brother).  It was on his land that the homesteader's shack (picture I previously sent) was converted to a school. The caption on the school picture, in my mother's words..."The 1910 Federal Census indicates that the Phillips lived in the School District #13, Schammerich Lake." And later it is referred to as 'Schammerich Lake School' ".
