Horse Image Inlay on Bar Floor, Montana Hotel 1893

Marcus Daly had a stable of racehorses here in Anaconda that he raced in big races back in New York.  This is a photo taken in about 1950 of his favorite racehorse, Tammany, whose likeness he had inlaid in fine woods on the barroom floor at the Montana Hotel.
