My fathers oldest sister Anna (born 1881.02.17) left Anna born 1881.02.17 (February 17, 1881) left Norway 1907.08.09 (August 8, 1907) with the steamer "United States" for USA. 
She was then 26 years old and she never saw Norway again. She married a man named Palmer and settled in Benchland (I have no idea where and when she met him or if he was the reason she left).  Here she gave birth to a boy (John Palmer) the 1915.06.26, (June 26, 1915) and she died a short time after 1915.08.02 (August 2, 1915) at the age of  34.
