Matti Nurmela adopted the same name as my grandfather did, NORVILLE, sometime between 1918 and 1920.

He is listed in the cemetery/funeral home records as Matt NORVEL,  and died August 29, 1953 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Polson. He is buried in grave 5a-94, Lakeview Cemetery.  The informant was Jeanne Powell.  The pallbearers were:  C.I. Sterling, Gordon Gipe, Jess Moseley, Martin Blumhagen, George Sager,  and M.R. Dickson.
