Davies Family Photo, 1900
Robert Geddes Davies' family. Davies was an attorney in Helena, MT from about 1887 - 1904. His brother, Harpin Davies, had been in Helena (emigrated from Arkansas after the Civil War) since about 1865. Harpin lived in Avon and had mining claims -- he is not pictured here. Pictured left to right, back row: Robert Geddes Davies, Ernest Woodcock, Jr., unknown maid; Lower, bottom row: Fulham Fairchild "Kie" Davies (under railing), Margaret Fulham Davies (was a cook in Helena), Cornelia Blanchard Davies, Minnie Lawson, “the cousin who came to visit and stayed for 45 years.” She was a cousin to Margaret C. Fulham Davies, and literally came to visit and ended up staying with family, in Montana, Arkansas, and Louisiana for 45 years. She outlived M. C. Fulham Davies and her sister Fannie Fulham, the latter with whom Minnie lived in New Orleans, Allan Thurman "Sonny" Davies.
