First State Bank
Family lore indicates that the Vida Post office and eventually the town were named after my grandmother Vida (Nefzger) Todd. Her father was August C. Nefzger. the sign on the nearest building reads First State Bank the sign on the next building reads Pay Puffer Mercantile Co. Note on the back of this picture indicates it is The First State Bank of Vida Montana 1 mile from the post office. Joe Riedinger
