Old Roundup Hospital
"The building was constructed in 1908-1909. Elizabeth Bequette and Bellezonia Gile were the original owners. It was a hospital from 1908-1912. Then it was converted to a rooming house by the James Copeland family. In the 1920's it was re-opened as a hospital by Frances Vicars and Marie Knutsen. It became the Vicars Nursing Home in 1952-53. The building has been vacant for several years. The structure has had at least two fires. The first fire (in the building's early days) destroyed the top floor, and the building was rebuilt to be only two stories tall. It was a victim of arson in 1994. Some repairs have been made since that fire." Suzan Kinsey-Cartwright
