The note on the photo says that the rock was for the Dodson Dam.The horses' names
were: Sam & Teddy (lead), Tom & Dan (swing) and Major & Niger.Walter Fletcher
was to have for a time run a ferry across the river near Dodson and fell inone winter while tying up the boat.
He died of pneumonia shortly there after.
