Valier Hotel, when completed, was three stories high. The whole first floor was a lobby and a snazzy dining room.  Our family enjoyed eating there many times.  It burned down a few years ago, and has been replaced with a city park.  The smaller building on this end was the Valier Paper office, The Valierian.
