Inscribed "Byron Corson" on reverse. Portrait matches photograph of woman, believed to be Clara Foulk Corson. Portrait of woman is inscribed "Byron Corson" and "Nov 10, 1887" on reverse, and also has notations indicating size and quantities of duplicate photographs ordered.
George Washington, Clara, and their son Byron, came to Montana circa 1886, originally residing in the Sun River and Great Falls areas. Clara died in December of 1887.
George and Byron eventually settled in the Choteau area of Teton County, Montana.
