There
are 10 public cemeteries, two private and several old, unmaintained
cemetries in Ravalli county. The book “Burial Sites and Pioneer
Stories” lists and describes many of the old cemeteries. This book was
written by the Bitter Root Genealogical Society in 1991 and is
available at the Ravalli County Museum in Hamilton.
