Magnison, Gus
Gus Magnison of Clancy died at St. Peter's hospital yesterday from the effects of injuries sustained in an accident at Clancy. Magnison was digging a cellar when a cave-in occurred and he was buried under a mass of rock and earth. When taken out it was found that he was seriously hurt and he was at once brought to the hospital. There it was learned that his spine had been fractured.

McSorley, G. S.
G. S. McSorley died here this evening at the advanced age of 86. He was one of the oldest and best known citizens of Jefferson county and served three terms as its treasurer. He was unmarried and leaves relations in Central New York, his birthplace.

Newkirk, Owen
The funeral services of Owen Newkirk, who died at Fish creek last week of spinal meningitis, were held at the Fish creek schoolhouse Saturday afternoon and interment took place in the Fish creek cemetery.
