Please note: Lookups for material under copyright will be done so as not to violate copyright laws. The information in a lookup will be kept to a minimum. The idea is to let researchers know if the material will be useful or not to their research. The researcher can then buy the publication or locate it through a library, if they want more extensive information.

When requesting a lookup, please put Lake County Lookup in the subject line. In the body of the message put the name of the book or other resource and enough details to aid the volunteer. Lookup requests should be limited to one or two names, depending on the time involved to fulfill the request.
